Our Tech Ninja/Teen Tech Advisor program started out of a necessity to have more 1:1 attention during professional development. Over the past three years our Tech Ninjas have changed our campus and how we have done professional development.
Our Tech Ninja/Teen Tech Advisor program started out of a necessity to have more 1:1 attention during professional development. Over the past three years our Tech Ninjas have changed our campus and how we have done professional development.
- Taught our entire student population Hour of Code 2014, 2015
- Provided professional development for our middle school teachers on technology tools to use in class 2015
- Worked with Local Children's Museum on 3D design that they later made into custom chocolates 2016
- Worked with local Children's Museum to code video games in Scratch and raise money for our local Children's Home (Coding for a Cause) 2016
- Facilitated a family Maker/STREAM (Science, Technology Reading, Engineering, Art, Math) Night for two years 2015, 2016
- Currently building a 3D Printer from a kit (the plan is that they will teach other students and staff how to utilize the printer)
